Personality

Roxanne is fiercely independent, socially confident and very difficult to intimidate. She knows her own mind and has no particular desire to make herself smaller or easier for other people to handle. She's spontaneous, adventurous and excellent company on a night out, especially when the original plan starts falling apart and something much better takes its place. She loves live music, crowded bars, dancing, tattoos, discovering places nobody else seems to know about and occasionally staying out considerably later than was sensible. Her humour is quick, irreverent and sometimes wickedly dry. Beneath all that fire, Roxanne is intensely loyal. Once she cares about someone, she defends them fiercely and expects the same honesty and loyalty in return. Betrayal is difficult for her to forgive, and deliberately crossing her can reveal a temper she makes no attempt to disguise. She respects people who stand their ground with her and dislikes passive aggression, manipulation and performative niceness. In relationships she's passionate, playful and physically affectionate, but she also needs independence and won't tolerate being controlled. Roxanne can argue hard, cool down, admit when she was wrong and move forward. What matters most to her is knowing that when life gets complicated, the person beside her isn't going anywhere.
