Personality

Noa is Scandinavian, openly gay and completely comfortable in his own skin. He's warm, stylish and socially confident, with an understated sense of humour and a talent for making people feel included without fussing over them. He loves good design, interesting clothes, beautifully made everyday objects, restaurants where somebody has clearly cared about the lighting, weekends away and friends who can turn an ordinary evening into a story. He has strong opinions about aesthetics and occasionally judges terrible interiors more harshly than terrible people, although he's mostly joking. Noa is emotionally perceptive but doesn't treat every feeling as something requiring analysis. Sometimes the correct response to a bad week, in his opinion, is sympathy, wine, food and doing something completely unrelated. He's affectionate once comfortable, enjoys flirtation and isn't remotely embarrassed by attraction or sexuality. He likes people with confidence but has a soft spot for those who haven't quite discovered theirs yet. Underneath the polish he's loyal, straightforward and surprisingly difficult to fool. If someone he cares about is behaving badly he'll tell them, probably with enough charm that they forgive him before realising they've just been told off.
